WHERE I MAKE MONEY

I have read many articals on making money and some great information received from fellow bloggers, but I would like to give you my own exeriences on how I made some extra cash.

These examples are in no perticular order just written as it comes to mind.

Facebook Marketplace. – I usally post individual items in local facebook groups and Marketplace. I get a great response from doing this and sell most of my items quickly. This is what I do now and I make about $1000.00 per month just selling items I make – wood signs, flower arrangements, chalk painted furniture and refinishing jewelry boxes. See my picture below.

Flea Marketing – We have rented space at local flea markets and made soooo much money. The downfall is its mostley summer months (so hot) and a very long day. Usually 5am to 3pm. Also, transporting what you have to sell unloading it, setting it up and then loading back up at the end of the day. We use to do this every Saturday from May till Septemer. Making $500 to $700.

Selling on Aution Sites – this requires time to learn the procedures but can get you an extra $200.00 a week if you are willing to deal with customer questions, complaints, returns, etc. Not my favorite.

This is me!

I grew up most of my life in Northeast Philly! Yes Philadelphia. Most of my childhood was in a section called Frankford. It was a beatiful part of the City in the 1970’s but much of it has change now. As a young adult up until about 27 we lived back and forth from Avalon NJ to Philly. 6 Winter months in the City and 6 summer months down the NJ Shore. We had so much fun. My Husband and I managed a popular resturant at the time from April to October ever year at the shore for about 5 years. We moved permanetly to Northeast Philly the October of 1993 and never looked back. We had our first child the same year in December and within the next 2 1/2 years we managed to buy a house and have another baby in 1996.

My life consist now of 1 husband, 3 children, 1 dog, 1 cat and 1 bird. Lol. All my children are grown now, althought my youngest is graduating High School this year and has accepted a 4 year scholarship at Penn State University Main Campus. She is going to live on campus. It’s going to be so quite around here….. My daughter got married last October and my son graduated college last year and landed a great job and decided to move out into the world on his own.

So now, I pretty much have alot of time on my hands and always wanted to start a blog. So now is a great time!
